ACCESS CIRCUIT / RELAY

PUBLIC SERVICE REGISTER

Purpose, authority, access and limits remain readable.

The operating summary supports the detailed policy text below.
01

Purpose is stated.

Contact, appliance and property information belongs to a defined enquiry or service task.

02

Authority is named.

Customer, site contact, Relay and qualified trades keep separate responsibilities.

03

Access can be discussed.

Communication, support-person and property-access needs can be included in a request.

04

Limits are visible.

A service visit does not silently become a code, safety or specialist determination.

DETAILED SERVICE LEAVES / ACCESS CIRCUIT

Long-form guidance becomes a working manual, not a text wall.

Evidence, preparation, options, limits and next links remain separate and scannable.

Purpose and people covered by this register

Relay Appliance Works Accessibility Statement explains how Relay approaches digital, communication and visit accessibility for visitors and customers who use assistive technology or need a communication or visit accommodation. It applies to the public website, service enquiries, booking communications and records created through the relevant interaction. The notice identifies Relay Appliance Works as the operating brand while the published legal entity and contact channel must match current business records. It does not silently extend to an unrelated manufacturer, payment provider, map platform, landlord, property manager or independent trade merely because that party is mentioned or linked.

The page is an operational register, not decorative legal text. Readers should be able to identify the purpose, responsible party, information or service involved, important conditions and a practical contact route. An accessibility statement describes current practice and a route for improvement rather than claiming perfect access in every environment. Where a separate agreement, provider notice, building rule or law controls a specific transaction, Relay names that relationship and avoids implying that this page overrides rights or duties that cannot lawfully be changed.

Information and actions stay tied to a stated purpose

Relay limits each request to details reasonably connected to the service purpose. Booking information can include contact details, ZIP code, property access, appliance type, full model, symptom, error, operating history and photographs of the appliance or rating plate. Commercial requests may include an asset ID and authorized site contact. Sensitive access instructions, account credentials or network details are not requested casually. When such information is genuinely necessary, the reason, access role and handling path should be clear before it is shared.

For digital communication and service accessibility, the working record keeps standard, keyboard path, labels, contrast, alternative text, testing method, known limitation, request channel and response owner. A contact form is not consent for unrelated marketing, and a service photo is not permission to publish a case study. A website visit may create ordinary technical records such as security events, device/browser information and cookie choices. The current cookie or analytics configuration must match this explanation; Relay must not describe a privacy-friendly setup while undisclosed scripts collect broader data.

Requests permissions and authorization are distinct

A visitor can read public information without creating a service engagement. Sending a form asks Relay to review the request; it does not guarantee coverage, price, timing or acceptance. Service authorization belongs to the customer or appropriately authorized property contact. Photographs, account access, diagnostic actions, parts orders, regulated-trade handoffs and changes to an approved scope need the permission appropriate to each action. Silence or a preselected marketing box is not treated as meaningful agreement.

The same discipline applies to content access, form use, alternative formats, accommodations and feedback. Relay records the decision, who made it, what information was available and any material limitation. If a person acts for an owner, tenant, employer, association or commercial site, Relay may need to confirm that role. Children are not the intended service-contracting audience. A support person can assist with communication, but Relay avoids sharing account or property details until authority and the requested access are reasonably clear.

Service providers and qualified trades keep separate roles

Relay may rely on hosting, email, forms, file storage, maps, scheduling, payment, analytics or security providers. A current internal register should name each provider, purpose, data or operational scope, access level, location considerations and retention trigger. Public wording stays accurate at category level and links to a provider notice when that helps the customer. Relay does not sell a relationship claim by calling every vendor a partner, and it does not promise that information never leaves Illinois unless the actual architecture supports that statement.

Independent electricians, plumbers, gas professionals, EPA-certified refrigerant technicians, manufacturers, building contacts and local authorities make decisions within their own roles. A referral or coordination handoff is not represented as Relay performing or guaranteeing their work. Likewise, a link does not make an external page part of this website. Customers receive enough information to understand who is responsible for the next action and which terms, credentials or privacy notice apply.

Retention changes and records follow a defined trigger

Records are not kept merely because storage is inexpensive. Relay defines retention by purpose: an unaccepted enquiry, scheduled visit, completed invoice, warranty record, safety incident, commercial asset history, legal obligation or unresolved concern can require different periods. Photographs and access notes deserve particular care because they may reveal a home, workplace, serial number or security detail. When the purpose ends, information should be deleted, de-identified or retained under a documented requirement instead of remaining in an unreviewed inbox.

Customers are told when a material change affects an active request. Service scope, estimated cost, special-order parts, site access, responsible trade, appointment window and known limitation are not altered silently. Policy revisions carry an effective or review date so a reader can tell which version applies. Backups and system logs may not disappear instantly after a deletion request; the response should explain any lawful or technical limit accurately rather than promise immediate erasure everywhere.

Security safety and technical limitations remain visible

Relay uses proportionate administrative, technical and physical controls for systems it operates. Expected measures include role-based access, strong authentication, supported software, secure transmission where appropriate, controlled exports, vendor review, backups and a response path for suspected misuse. Public copy does not expose defensive detail that would weaken security, but it gives customers a route to report a concern. Staff and contractors receive only the access needed for their function and should not reuse service information for personal purposes.

No website, email, photo upload, remote diagnosis or automated tool is infallible. Users should not send payment-card data, passwords, door codes or other high-risk details through a field that does not request them. Appliance safety remains separate: gas odor, smoke, shock, active flame, burning or uncontrolled water requires appropriate urgent action rather than reliance on a website response. Accessible content also needs a human alternative when a tool, document or third-party map creates a barrier.

Questions choices concerns and corrections have a route

A person may contact Relay about the information or service record associated with them, subject to identity, authority, legal and operational limits. Depending on the issue, the response may provide access, correction, explanation, marketing opt-out, deletion review, alternative format, accommodation discussion or service status. Relay records the request without requiring the customer to repeat sensitive details across multiple channels. A reasonable identity check should be proportionate and should not collect more information than the request justifies.

The route for a accessibility adjustment or barrier report must be published and monitored. If Relay cannot fulfill the request, the response explains why and identifies any available next step. Customers keep the ability to use relevant regulators, consumer resources, courts or other remedies. Nothing on the page should waive non-excludable rights, misstate a warranty, prevent an honest review or penalize a person for raising a safety, privacy or accessibility concern in good faith.

Review ownership and contact details close the loop

Relay assigns an internal owner to this page and reviews it whenever services, forms, vendors, credentials, geography or law materially change. The owner checks that visible forms match stated purposes, required links work, phone and email routes are monitored, claims remain supported and old versions can be located when needed. Quarterly review is an operating baseline, not a substitute for immediate correction after a known change. The footer links this page from every public interface without hiding it inside an unrelated menu.

The desired outcome is a direct route to request an accessible format, communication adjustment or reasonable visit-planning support. A customer contacting Relay should name the page or service, relevant date, preferred response method and enough detail to locate the issue without publishing private information in a public review. Relay acknowledges the request, routes it to the responsible owner and records the resolution. This final handoff keeps Relay Appliance Works accessibility connected to an accountable process instead of treating a policy page as finished once it has been uploaded.
